Nearby the main plaza of Cuernavaca was this small family restaurant, straight forward in its name and dishes. The green post was bent quite a bit, most likely it was hit by a local bus. Sergio painted the scene with the pole bent toward the left and titled the piece ...SE DOBLA PERO NO SE QUIEBRA (IT BENDS BUT IT DOESN’T BREAK). Recently the person who bought the original sent a picture of the piece hanging in her home and the pole was straight. Sergio at one time decided the bent pole did not work for the composition, thus the interesting correction.
