During the exhibit of 30 WALLS in Sainte, France in 1996 a number of people who had known Sergio while he lived in the area began to contact him, having seen articles in the newspapers and news from friends....Sergio is back. One invitation for dinner came from Dr.Jean-Claude DuBois whose portrait Sergio had done years before for his family clinique in Saujon, begun in 1860. While driving to the dinner we were having hard time arriving and continued to see signs for Saujon but we never seemed to arrive. This painting and a wonderful evening with the DuBois family were the fortunate outcomes.
