We were in Patzcuaro on the day of the revered Virgen de la Salud (Our Lady of Health). We opened our shutters in our hotel to see many pilgrims arriving from far away to pay homage to this important figure. This man was displaying for sale, his beautiful, finely woven baskets, made from the reeds from the banks of nearby Lake Patzcuaro.
